Baby osteopathy

Why we refer babies out

EEline, osteopath D.O.Last updated on 25 July 2026
Short answer

In our practice we do not treat babies ourselves. Babies require a specific specialisation and experience, which is why we are glad to refer you to a specialised colleague. That way your baby gets the right care. The referral is without obligation and free of charge. For medical questions, your doctor, paediatrician or Kind en Gezin always remains the first point of contact.

We choose quality and safety

We consider quality and safety more important than wanting to do everything ourselves. Treating babies requires a specific specialisation that we do not offer in our practice. Rather than giving a treatment for which we do not have the right experience, we prefer to put you in touch with someone who has dedicated themselves to it.

That way your baby gets care from a specialised colleague, and you can be sure you are with the right person.

How does the referral work?

01
You get in touch without obligation

Through the contact form on this website.

02
We put you in touch

With a specialised baby osteopath near you.

03
Without obligation and free of charge

The referral costs nothing and commits you to nothing.

When to see the doctor first?

Contact your doctor or the emergency department immediately if your baby has

  • fever;
  • poor or refused feeding;
  • breathing problems;
  • inconsolable or persistent crying;
  • drowsiness or clear deterioration.

For babies, medical care is always the first step. Osteopathy never replaces the care of a doctor, paediatrician or Kind en Gezin.
